An advert promoting a new luxury development in south-east London has sparked outrage after ‘boasting’ it will not contain any social housing.

A total of 32 apartments are being sold as part of a £85 million regeneration scheme in Abbey Wood, where a Crossrail station is set to open in 2018.

The controversial advert appeared on the website for Fraser & Co Estate Agents ahead of an exclusive launch in Hong Kong.

Theyll be needing housing benefit tenants to pay their mortgages, so social housed tenants will be housed there.

Just at 3 times the cost of real social housing! Well done on cutting down on housing benefit Georgie boy!

Im not sure why...abbey wood prices would be considered 'affordable' in other parts of London.

Or do social tenants not only get to choose to live in the most expensive city in the world, but get a choice of exactly where they live.

Its pretty pathetic this makes the news.
