For Those Interested In Property-related Stuff In Poland

Could someone please tell me how much 1 & 2 bed apartments go for in Krakow?

What is the rental market like there?

Cheers.

Here you have some english-version websites by Krakow's estate agents:

http://www.e-realestate.pl/eng/

http://www.ager.krakow.pl/en/

Prices look silly compared to those in GB, eg:

http://www.neodom.pl/offers/houses/for_sal...go_aera_655000/

(500m2 house for ca. 118k £ - 655k Polish Zloty [PLN] )

I'm not sure if by 'silly' you mean excessive or cheap. Krakow is a small city reliant on tourism rather than industry. What's the wage growth going to be in the area to justify higher prices in the medium term?

I think that £118k is a fair bit of money. For example, in Brisbane Australia you'd still get a modest house in a modest suburb for that on about 600-800m2 of land. Your rental return would be better than in Krakow.

What wage growth has been in the UK since 1998 to justify current UK prices?

Then there's only one answer.. Go and invest in Australia!

There is also a new property portal featuring hundreds of offers in English. Its at www.mamdom.com. This has pricing information on the various regions and every offer includes at least one photograph or image.
