Guest Time 2 raise Interest Rates

Just had a bit of an idea for the next house price crash meet.

How's about a day out at one of them health spas come golf

complexes? All the women can get pampered for the day in

the health club and the men can have 18 holes of golf, and

end the day with a nice meal in the restaurant afterwards.

There seems to be plenty of cash around here.

I guess it's a case of thinking before you speak or post as the

the case may be. It was only an idea.

Paradox, I wasn't assuming everyone played golf, I just thought

it would make a change from spending a night in the pub. Just

because people go to the pub, doesn't make them all drinkers.

Now that TTRTR has edited his original post, my response seems unnecessarily pompous.

The original post included the suggestion that FTBers could caddie for the BTL crew, or valet their cars.

But, even so, I still can't think of a worse place to spend time than a golf/country club. Pastiche buildings in artificial landscapes stuffed with people who haven't had money long enough to know how to enjoy it.

noddage Guilty as charged. Maybe a public stoning is the order of

the day. Seeing as I edited my original post when I realised it may not

be taken in the context it was meant, i.e just joking. If you're still

feeling pompous you could always edit yours.

Who's this TTRTR? And as for the buy to let crew, not sure what you

mean? Maybe you could enlighten me, what would a good day out for

you entail?

dunroamin By the way, a day at the races sounds great.

Ah, just noddage getting the wrong end of the stick and getting his knickers in a twist as a result.

An honest mistake - I've had to double-take on a couple of occasions as well.

Actually, I should have known better. I've had about half a dozen posts

now where people jump straight in at me thinking it's TTRTR posting.

Nevermind.

Are we talking horse races or a day at Walthamstow Dog Track?

The latter would be very convenient for me and not so expensive for the frugal amongst us?

What do people think?

I like the idea of going to the dogs !!!

Seriously, I went on a work jolly to Hall Green dog track in Birmingham, we booked a hospitality box and it was a fun night, which suprised me cause I'd never been before and would always have said I'd rather go horse-racing. But at the dog track you don't have to contend with the weather.
