6.5 Monitoring local UKIP activity
Monitoring local UKIP activity will play a key part in Labour’s attack and rebuttal work
against UKIP. Statements by UKIP candidates and councillors and copy on UKIP
campaign materials can be used in counter-UKIP campaigning at the local and national
level. Therefore, all local parties should collect any UKIP materials distributed in your
constituency, and monitor the social media accounts of UKIP candidates and councillors.
Please send all UKIP leaflets and any relevant UKIP social media activity to
research@labour.org.uk.
Campaigns should also keep an eye on the Election Leaflets website, where you can
select your seat to see which leaflets are being distributed locally. See here:

Don't underestimate the Labour Party Admin's ability to get its vote out and organised. Look at the Scottish referendum - Labour were a lot more organised on the ground than in the public eye.

Here's an idea to Labour .... how about putting together a manifesto and policies that make good sense and will win public support rather than attacking a party on the rise because of labours ineffectiveness thus far

I'm sure the Frankfurt school will have the final say, Labour will obviously get back in and continue the dilution agenda it started.

am not so sure, Labour are going to be obliterated in Scotland

They might pick up some ideas.
It sounds like a follow through from his chat with that political marketing man from the US who was basically saying that they should ignore people's current opinion and use techniques to persuade them to Labour's opinion. So they'll say they're listening and they'll pretend to listen but they won't really listen.

He argued that they shouldn’t worry about where public opinion is now, but about where they need to get it to.
