Watched the first half this morning over breakfast..

Not much full on bun fighting.. Farage was good but I actually thought the lady in the red dress (didn't catch who she was) actually made some of the most sensible comments.

Times Journo, had a good grasp on things....

I rather enjoyed it.

The labour robot had a massive case of amnesia regarding everything the previous labour government had done (until she was reminded).

The times journalist and Nige are the only two that came across as people that could actually form an opinion, the rest were just drones for their particular colour flag.

Was the labour woman the one in the:

Red dress.

Purple dress.

Black haired woman sat next to Brand and told us that we don't like men talking over women.

?

The short dark haired woman sat to the right of Brand.

Truly awful

Like others said the Times journo was excellent, apart from a few nutters the audience seemed to disregard Brand half way through for what he is.....

I'm not sure what was more cringeworthy: the words actually coming out of Brand's mouth, or his completely obvious attempt to modify his accent to sound working class.

I mean his accent was ridiculous, nobody speaks like that. It was so false, so cringeworthy. His over use of the word 'mate' was cringeworthy as well.

Brand just sounded like a whiny bleeding heart liberal. I was actually really disappointed as my impression of him in the past was of a smart guy with a real edge to him. How the hell did he manage to bag a quality bird like Katie Perry ?

Don't get me wrong, I think the guys got some valid points. But he's got to get them across better than that before people start to take him seriously.

That marriage just seemed like a commercial arrangement for the benefit of both parties' careers. I'm actually not that convinced women are his thing at all particularly as he seems to have more than a bit of the persona of a former rent boy.

Forgive my ignorance, but from your experience what sort of persona do former rent boys have?

Can't explain but it's a look and manner. Never used them, or their female counterparts but, have been around plenty of people that do and similarly I can usually spot high end escort girls. They all have something in their eyes along the lines of an abused puppy.

I had an insect in my eye once, dratted unpleasant few minutes that was, nearly came off my bike. No wonder they all turn to coke.

This was not caused by an insect - you had forgotten to attach the saddle to the seat-post of your bike prior to riding it.

So what?

His question was valid, not an insult and quite frankly had brand stumped

there have been a million Brands through time, nothing new, unoriginal and lacking substance.

he strikes fear into people because he seems like he has a vast armoury of vocabulary and shouts, reality is, he has a pathetic mockney accent with nothing behind it

While there's nothing especially new in what he's saying, that's a pretty harsh assessment. He's trying to use his celebrity platform to present an alternate view to the current consensus. I don't much agree with his ideas for making things better. But I don't see many other people actually pushing a message, to 9m+ people, that there are deep flaws in our society that the media try to keep them blind to. Some of his "the Trews" shows are pretty good.

Fair point but what is he actually doing?

Telling people not to vote? refusing to stand as an MP 'because he doesn't want to become one of them'?

Just a shouty twit and just reminds me of this guy

The tory party should really be called the 'one the fence party'

I havent watched QT for a while, but last time I did, Justine Greening was on and managed to prove she is capable of feigning having no opinion on anything.
