Interesting Stat Behind The "...buyers Better Off Than Renters..." Headline

Interesting line in among the "quick buy now because you are missing out" message.


"...London owners pay nearly £1,790 more a month than the average renter in the capital."

That (taking all figures as per the article) works out at over £21k a year worse off if you don't rent in London.

Start to factor in likely price falls, ability to move if need to, interest rate increases etc... it looks increasingly mad to consider buying in the capitial at the moment.
