Those mortgages they're promoting look expensive compared to the 1.49%+BOE that i've just been approved for.

Q1: The Torygraph needs to sell papers to its core readership. Is it likely / unlikely to publish stuff its readers want to believe is true?

Q2: Part (at the very least) of the Torygraph's mission statement is to get the Tories re-elected. The Tories are currently the majority party in the governing coalition government. In the light of this, is the paper likely / unlikely to publish stories saying "everythings's going to hell in a handcart" (even if it actually is)?

To all intents and purposes, it is 2007 again. But with Comrade Osborne financing the bubble this time rather than the securitisation markets and the Chinese.
