Estate Agents Pushing Help To Buy

Recommended Posts

I get frequent EA postcards through my letterbox, usually showing local houses they claim they've sold.

A new approach today, exclusively promoting Help To Buy for those already 'owning' houses..

Don't Miss Out...

The Government's Help To Buy initiative is a low cost home ownership scheme designed to help existing homeowners move up the housing ladder,

Help To Buy could help you:

> find your ideal buyer

> help you move up the property ladder

Don't Miss Out - ask for your free market appraisal NOW!

Have the first time/BMD buyers dried up?

Or is nobody buying anything?

EA's are chasing sales at the moment, silly season is truly over (for now at least).

They certainly are. EAs that we have had no contact with for years are phoning with "bargains". As we are abroad at the moment, some hang-up when they hear a foreign ring tone, but Googling the number shows the calls to be from EAs.

Another potential cash buyer on the forum posted about EAs from the past getting in touch again, it would seem that cash is king again.

Quite, there are very few with mortgage approval who didn't buy in the frenzy 12 months ago. you know back in those days prices were going to the moon, shortage of property, foreigners etc.

What a difference '12 months' makes ....

I'm getting plenty of emails from EA's now also. I changed my mobile number a couple of months back and the a couple of agents have mentioned in their messages they've been trying to 'frantically' contact me as they have a number of properties I would surely be interested in..........

A local one in Northampton has been harassing my wife. I've told her to tell them to f**k off
