Yes, that's right: 84% of our wealth is 'in property'. 61% of the UK's 'wealth' is in 'dwellings', a further 23% is in other property, including commercial and public buildings, leaving just 16% - a mere £1.2trn - in other assets, such as the value of firms.

Unbalanced?

1/6th outside property stat, how does that compare to other G7 countries?

Except Germany and Japan, the same maybe. What about the likes of Australia & Canada also very high I would have thought.
