I remember a 3bed detached there not selling for £100k, oddly enough.

Similar seem to be going for £250k now.

Looks like a 4bed didnt sell up at £157.5k

Brilliant. NO growth in 6 years.

They may have bought at 2007 peak price which would suggest 2009 trough should have been c £300k.

If, however, they bought at market in 2008 then 2009 trough should have been c £360k.

I know that area quite well and there is NO price I would personally pay to live there.

Therefore, still 400K overpriced in my book :P:P:P

P.S. I've seen (what I suspect) are no end of people trying to get out of their 2007/2008 purchases lately + no end of "empty" houses coming to the market, I wonder what organisations are trying to sell them.

Two questions; How bad is Neath Hill, and have the MSE experts been made aware of these peak buyers struggling to get out?

To be honest, it's not the worst in MK but it's far from the best. I've never felt that safe and I used to see some really odd people around the local shopping area.

Maybe it's improved since I was last there and 400K for a bog standard MK house is a bargain.
