The Masked Tulip

Very Windy Now In West Wales

Recommended Posts

Presumably, because this is not affecting the media luvvies in London or in Manchester there is no reason to mention it on the news.

I suspect that when an umbrella gets blown inside out near the BBC's Media Centre it will be headline news.

Carol got a bit excited about this on BBC breakfast this morning....3000 km depression apparently. So we got 5 minutes on the weather in north Ireland effecting one million people and about one minute on the weather for the other 60 odd million...well an unintelligible rush of a forecast.

The Celts can't complain...weather forecasting is never pro rata the population.

The BBC specialise in 90% of the forecast being for the Cornish or those on the Isle of Skye followed by a rush to get the other 99%of the population in.

I'm in southern Spain and it's obvious why it's so nice here. We miss most of the tail end of those systems. Not completely though of course...can be horrific.

Is Mr Pin's wind machine responsible?

Hey Babe, I'm just a wind machine! And I won't fart for nobody but you! The mechanical working of my guts are a mystery even to God!

I love a bit of wind as I've got shares in a wind farm!

PS. Damn you Mr Pin. I've started putting exclamation marks all over the place. Even found one in an email at work!

Windy here too. I expect coasts and hilltops get the best of it, so those of us on a steep hill up from the water are having our fair share of the fun. Though the coast here is a sheltered bay.
