sPinwheel
Chrome normally blocks it and asks you a question, did you click "allow popups"? Or something. Go to Content settings in settings

Actually: http://jervisdabreo.com/thetechcorner/block-ads-on-android-devices-rooted-and-unrooted/ Try Adblock plus. 19 year mortgage 8itch
Nothing changed at my end and I am getting a top banner and a bottom rising pop up thing. The changes are messing my phone about and only 1 in 4 actions on the forum is currently getting to a page whilst mobile browsing. Submitted this post 4 times by phone only for nothing to happen. Everywhere else working fine.
little fish
I'm getting a bottom banner about BTL seminars. Just started today and very annoying.

thecrashingisles
I for one am glad to have 1.99% BTL loans pushed at me as I browse HPC. It restores my faith in the inadequacies of targeted advertising.

fleabittenmoggie
Massive top banner ad. Endlessly popping up bottom ad. 1/2 of the screen taken up with ads for btl mortgages (I f#cking hate btl, that's why I'm here for gods sake!) Yep, I won't be reading hpc anywhere near as often now the mobile app is ruined by this over the top advert sh#t.
SpectrumFX
I was possessed for a moment there. Still have the top banner ad.I've just noticed that adblock plus only works on WiFi. On the phones own connection it's still ******ed.

SpectrumFX
The ad's are annoying but guess the site has costs. The trouble is the ads seem to have been implemented in such a way that the ads don't scale to your screen size in a reasonable way. On my nexus 7 they're a mild annoyance that I can easily live with. On my 4 inch phone they literally take up half the screen.
tinker
Adblock on mobile hasn't worked. These pop-ups are annoying, intrusive and affecting the rendering of the page!
