"who falsely claimed £90,000 "

"Judge Tregilas-Davey sentenced Neal to 12 months in custody, suspended for two years. She must complete 150 hours unpaid work."

90,000/150 hours = £600 per hour.

Is it me, or is this just wrong ?

Hate to get in the way of a good story but she will have to pay the money back as well.

So, if you rob a bank and get away with it that's fine, if you get caught you agree to pay the money back and get a slap on the wrists ?

This is like the MPs expenses scandal, there seems to be something in british culture now that says if you can get away with robbing the tax payer blind then great, if you get caught it's no biggy, just say sorry and pay it back

If you rob a bank violently you will be jailed. If you commit a relatively small fraud without hurting anybody, it isn't in the public interest to jail you.

It's what the NeoCons called 'trickle down'. No worse than the banksters printing money and sharing it out amongst themselves. Just rarer than hens teeth. That's all.

52 hours. 2.5 / 3 weeks worth of actual work. Definitely wrong.

Crime pays

Cultural Marxism at every level of society is rotting and decaying everything.............exactly as intended

I'm amazed so few people actually realize stuff like this is deliberate.

Or politicians fleecing the taxpayer and shredding the evidence of their deeds....

If you commit a humungously large fraud without "hurting anybody", it isn't in the public interest to jail you either....

Or so we are led to believe..........
