Overtime Should Count In Holiday Pay

No lunch break for my wife either and she has had to endure being held at gunpoint all for just above minimum wage. Thankfully she is starting to realise that a job utilising her full AAT qualifications would be a better option.

Aye. Mine had to get up before dawn and spend all day in a hole in the ground wide open to the weather, checking for different colours in the mud[1], all for £2.50 per day.

On a serious note, your missus sounds like precisely the kind of person who should expect to benefit. I wonder how it would affect the matter if the "overtime" pay included an element specifically described as "holiday pay"?

[1] Actually that's basically true, applied to my ex, who was an archaeologist.
