Government Sold Off Home Secretary's Mansion For £4Million During The Recession... Now It's Been Bought For £14Million

  • Grace and favour home in Belgravia, London, used by David Blunkett
  • But it fell into disuse and was occupied by squatters while on market
  • Advertised for £4m - though accounts suggest it may have fetched £3m
  • Post-war house now has permission to become sprawling 'iceberg' home
  • It sold for a staggering £14m in February as part of London property boom

Outstanding.

Obviously itd have been impossible to convert it into studio flats for politicians who claim to need 2 houses to be near parliament.

Only a labour government could engineer a massive house price boom and then fail to benefit from it.

Dismal.

Are we seriously suggesting the Tories wouldn't have sold it?

Other than that (and the fact it's now worth 14M because of Gidiot Osbrown blowing bubbles inside bubbles), carry on.
