My Lha - Words Fail Me

Recommended Posts

'Yorkshire Coast Homes is hosting two “Through the Keyhole” events with a Halloween theme.

The events will take place at Scarborough Spa on Friday October 31 and Whitby Pavilion on Wednesday October 29 and give people a chance to be entertained and find out more about the organisation’s work.

Both events are free of charge and run from 11am to 3pm. A spokesman said: “As the event is taking place around Halloween we’ll also be hosting a variety of ghoulish goings on, with something in the mix to delight the whole family.'

Why bother with the pretence of providing a service?

Why not just rename it 'Flushing your ta away and not fixing anything Association'

My local one won the "Best place to work award".In all the local free rags etc about how it showed what a great job they were doing for the community.Something about great pensions, flexi time, sick pay, sabatical every 3 years etc etc.

It didnt mention the fact rents has gone up by three times the rate of local wages over a decade.

LHAs are probably the worst kind of rentier. They hide behind them being social housing, BUT the staff make sure they are the gainers from it through wages, pensions and conditions.Mostly paid for through housing benefit.
