Fca Charges Ex-Morrisons Tax Head With Insider Dealing

Recommended Posts

Citywire 29/9/14

'The former tax head and treasurer of supermarket chain Wm Morrison has been charged with insider dealing by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Paul Gerard Coyle was charged with two counts on insider trading in relation to online grocery firm Ocado.

So far the FCA has secured 24 convictions in relation to insider dealing and is in the process of prosecuting eight individuals.

Coyle was arrested Harrogate in January on allegations he bought a stake in Ocado before it went public on a distribution deal with Morrisons. He was subsequently suspended by the firm.'
