MrPin
Ford Scorpio - Wow! You could live all day in this car. The wife/kids loved it, like a big leather sofa on wheels. It looked funny from the outside. Very quiet. Regret selling it, but RWD auto was useless in rural winters. I think it all comes down to your shape/weight. I had a couple of Ford Granada/Scorpios, but not the blobby late one! I had a '94 24 valve Cosworth one! I went 100,000 miles in that! Yes it was a good motorway car! And they were both hatchback, which I liked! And you can get big friends in the back.
blobloblob
Never had one myself but I drove someone else's Jaguar X Type a few years ago and it was the comfiest thing I ever sat on. I currently have an Audi A6 and it's like sitting on a wooden chair without a cushion. Can't wait to change it.

MattW
The most comfortable cars I've driven are my parents' 1986 Vauxhall Carlton CDi with chintzy velour upholstery and the more modern 1999 Renault Scenic. The passenger seat in my mate's Y reg Golf mark 4 is comfy too.

No it wasn't! 200 HP only! Nice comfy car though! Ford used the flimsy A4LD transmission, which was prone to bursting! The engine was rather nice though! And they never used it in anything else! It would have been better with a manual box!
The Eagle
Peugeot 206 - A revelation in practical comfort. This last year it's been everywhere from Harris island to Italy. I would choose this car if I had to leave for Istanbul this morning. French cars have always had the most comfortable seats, German car seats tend to be too firm for my taste. SNACR
Do I dimly recall Ken either applying or getting some kind of production crew job on porn films?
