Possibly THE biggest potential impact on the UK economy and the thread's disappeared. Wtf?!

Please do not post any copy from any Times publication. This has been made plain on many occasions. Times will sue Fubra if more than a sentence is used from their copyrighted material.

I didn't.

I posted from twitter.

Are you saying that twitter is banned on here now?

You included a copy of the Sunday Times front page in your post . That is copyright material and could have led to another legal dispute for Fubra.

Twitter is not banned just copyrighted material from Times publications.

How can SkyNews public twitter feed possibly be copyrighted by The Times?

Serious question. It's not from The Times, or from behind the Times Paywall. It's been published in the public domain by Sky News.

1.52m people follow Sky News twitter feed. So clearly it's not Times copyrighted. It's public domain.

THE SUNDAY TIMES FRONT PAGE: "Yes vote leads in Scots poll" #skypapers

...yes or no ...it is time for the provinces in England to become more militant and demand the same benefits enjoyed in Scotland currently....this blatant farce of democracy needs to be burnt at the stake.....time to challenge the decadent south east within the M25....and move the capital out of London which will remain the main tourist attraction ....

If it is a copy of the front page of the Sunday Times it has no place on HPC. Fubra has been threatened with legal action if their copyright is broken again by HPC posters. Your other post linking to the Twitter feed was ok -- but the copy of the front page was not ok.

Major new concessions in train for the Better Together camp!!

....this bribery which amounts to corruption has to stop ...what about the rest of the country ....stop trying to save the political souls of the vanquished....and focus on the people who wish to reform south of the border....

I understand not linking to The Times and copyright. I never do that and have never done that. I observe the FT ban religiously also.

I ONLY linked to the Skynews twitter feed. I didn't link to anything from The Times. Only from Skynews. They posted a photograph.

What you're asking is the equivalent of, say, not posting a picture taken from a newspaper in the street or on a train. i.e. in the public domain. That's entirely different from a link from The Times website, which as you say, is copyright.

Effectively you're saying that anyone retweeting that Skynews tweet (which is millions of people) would be breaking Times copyright which is nonsensical I'm afraid.

Think this is good news.

It means change not just in Scotland but in the rest of the country.

The no campaign have basically had all of the current crop of LibLabCon politicians turning up saying how great / important / indispensable they are and it's boosted the desire to be free (wee 'eck can be dealt with later). It's a journey not a destination.

I think it means change not just for the rest of the UK but it will also send shock waves across Europe where there are other separatist movements.

Putin may have started a trend for redrawing the map of Europe.

The no campaign is effectively run by Labour MPs who destroyed England and the economy, no wonder its going wrong.

How anyone could vote to be run by the current crop in Westminster is beyond me.

If Scotland votes for independence, they'll have a shock when they're blocked from joining Europe and they find they can't keep the Pound.

If the EU blocked them from joining it would fatally undermine the founding principles of the EU itself. Edited by thecrashingisles

The EU won't block them. The EU is a conglomeration of nations. Spain will.

The EU was a conglomeration of nations, it most certainly is not anymore and it does exactly what it wants.

EFA.

IMO this "poll" is meant to get lazy "no" voters who may not have actually turned out to vote, thinking it was a forgone conclusion, to now do so out of fear.

Yes i thought the same thing.

Just watched the Sky news paper review and these pointless fools whose opinion probably doesnt even matter in their own living room would make any no voter turn, the MSM just could not be any more patronising if they were to try.
