Just makes me feel a little bit better. :)

You have seen what the house is called?

I didn't understand what Sarah meant, until she explained to us. (Link to regional forum thread below.. begins in year 2011).

Never say never, perhaps, when the market turns, if you're an owner trying to offload such a home.

Asking price still 'out-there' in my opinion, after a cut in the owners asking price, since it was listed in 2011, although such houses have no appeal to me whatsoever and I don't know that local market or the appeal of Peak District area.

Also had gone for the landlord-rent option in the past, whilst trying to sell it for the price they want. Must be quite a few owners in similar positions, holding out for what it is worth. Maybe one of them will accept substantially less, at some point in future.

I just don't understand the pricing for some large roaming houses, in such areas of the North West; more expensive to heat, and I suspect very reliant on cars.

No; your relative is simply insane.

I will watch such owners beg and cry for people to buy these properties of them - same for older outright owners and btlers.

Fascinating. 550 to 450 ("Make us an offer") AFTER the huge rises of 2013 into 14.

Brilliant for showing, thx.

Tremendous rental if it were available for a professional / s/e type - quick search and apparently not.
