bankstersparadise
BC Partners has dumped 7% (half its remaining stake) at 232p this morning. Now that is the most important thing anyone has written on this thread for a long while.
Killer Bunny
Not sure I agree "most important" and still doesn't necessarily tell us anything about the market. Though it may do.
@contradevian
Well massively overpriced for the IPO, so I guess Foxton's share price is a reflection of London strength. Which suggests a lot more downside potential to come...

Foxtons share price falls as BC Partners halves stake" I've said it before and i'll say it again.....anyone with half a brain can see how insane London house prices are and how unsustainable the state sponsored pyramid is, in my opinion. If the London housing market is a pyramid scheme, and i truly believe it is now, then it's worth nothing....There has NEVER been a pyramid scheme in history that has not collapsed. Get in first you make a killing, get in last and you loose everything. Edited September 8, 2014 by TheCountOfNowhere

The Masked Tulip
Well, buying any UK stock this week is a coin toss on the Scottish vote. Massive drop or rise on Friday dependent upon the result methinks.

TheCountOfNowhere
Well that went easily! There is no bottom! 52 week low 226.7 Ouch. How are the builders and countrywide shares looking ? 52 Week Low 226.70 Almost halved in a few months...if this is a leading indicator it's squeaky bum time for a lot of savvy london investors. If london tanks 50% it will be carnage in the shires. Roll on Fridays external event.... I don't mind either way, immediate collapse or staggered collapse, either way the foxton share price makes me smile every day. It gives me hope.
