Looks like the recent bull run is only being picked up in one index - Nationwide's. They're grabbing all the headlines though.

(MODS - as an aside, I notice the front page links to the various indices' reports are all several months out of date)

Anecdotally, a colleague of mine was ranting and raving about Barclays yesterday. Her February application for remortgaging the house has still not been approved. Can it be that proper checks are now in place? That is a process that usually takes 4-6 weeks, this is 5 months down the line.

Autumn / Winter is going to be very interesting. I anticipate some good % falls based on the three month lag and the definite current house market.
