I must have missed something on the graph. I thought the average price for a house in 1989 was £100,000?

In fact if that graph is correct it would (horror of horrors) show a "soft landing" of flat stagnation in the early 90s.

The flamin' graph doesn't go high enough. I recall a buzz in the papers in 2002 about how the average price had broken the 100K mark and this was the same as 1989. I'm sure of it.
