This is more for the anecdotal evidence file (if it is for real). Forest Gate is a pit, and the property looks like a pit too, but I haven't seen any residential property advertised for 30K in London (even at an auction) since about 2000.

He's probably tired of people pulling out of the deal at the last minute.

Yeah, but why would anyone commit money to the conveyancing without any commitment on the part of the seller? He might be trying to avoid the sharp end of disappointment, but he has set himself up for a long slide into misery in the process :blink:

Each to their own, but I much prefer my disappointments short and sharp.
