Irish Finance Officials Disregarded Property Warnings.

Recommended Posts

Interesting because it sheds some light on finance thinking in the run up to a property crash. Dissenting voices were ignored and the official line was toed.

Makes you wonder what's happening in Osborne's Treasury right now.

Didn't the Irish PM at one point suggest to someone warning of possible problems with the housing market that they should kill themselves? That's one way to achieve a consensus I suppose.

That was Bertie the developer's friend. They Irish people let them all get away with it. He and his mates should be in gaol.
