Who Has Really Been Buying Houses.

Recommended Posts

I often wonder who is really buying houses, I've see houses go SSTC recently for insane prices but most of them just sit there till the sign falls down.

Some do sell though ( at mad prices ) and no one ever seems to be home afterwards.

I often wonder if someone is "investing" in these houses and keeping them lying empty, i.e. trying to push up prices buy buying a select few houses.

Or is it really just the sheeple who thing they can make a fortune.

Time will tell I guess.

This poll is multiple choice btw.

In London/Cities: Chinese borrowing "Cash" from the the unregulated shadow banking sector.

Outside: Desperate people wanting to make a few quid, Parent buying for children and desperate first time buyers snapping up those shitty properties on busy main roads and flood area that nobody in their right mind would buy at current prices.

You must have missed it: "Very Clever astate agents" ?

All the estate agents I have ever met have been halfwits, but not all the halfwits I have met have been estate agents.

Then again, most of them have. Fair cop ;-)
