Google Blunder Over D-Day Doodle

Recommended Posts

BBC website: Google blunder over D-Day doodle.

So, let me see... there was 'anger on Twitter' when a private company, who voluntarily commemorates various events and anniversaries as they see fit, and that is under no obligation whatsoever as far as I can see, inadvertently doesn't commemorate a specific anniversary as lavishly as they could have?
Have I got that right?
What some people need isn't a WW2 anniversary or commemoration but an actual new WW2 (a WW3, 'if you will' *retch*) just to remind them how much harder life could be.
