Signs Of Recession

Recommended Posts

I work with quite a few businesses in S and W Wales and everything's gone eerily quiet for all but one of them over the last couple of weeks. Very strange as things don't usually start cooling off for these businesses until mid-December at the earliest. Also noticed more enquiries coming my way and loads of businesses appearing to spend more on advertising and PR. Is the much talked about recession finally here?

I also have a few friends who work in retail and they've told me that numbers aren't down but spending most definitely is (Is this because of a pick-up in on-line sales though?).
