Chinese Debt Crisis..... The Black Swan Arrives?

Recommended Posts

I wasn't aware that issues are coming to a head in China, though obviously they've had their own problems not just the West. I'm also thinking HSBC might not be the best place for my savings.

In the longer run who knows what a nasty recession could do for Chinese nationalism, given that Japan and other neighbours are already bearing the brunt of Chinese territorial ambitions. Just a thought.

China needs to solve its debt crisis, says former Treasury minister China's public sector debt needs to be dealt with "immediately", according to chairman of the China-Britain Business Council Lord Sassoon

It's all numberwang. Every country is in debt, it's absolutely meaningless. We are genuinely in a new paradigm IMO, massive production and consumption and the only way to 'pay' for it is by essentially giving money away.
