Happy Days With Property Bee

Recommended Posts

I've started to look at rightmove with property bee again to get a feel for whats happening. in NN1 + 15 miles.

I am seeing many sales fall through now and lots of price drops especially below £250K.

I've seen a few sales drop through and the asking prices put up ( from Harrison Murray and Oriordan bond, so buyers should steer clear of them two agents in my opinion ).

Lots of listings still at insane asking prices but the stuff that's been on their 5 months is suddenly starting to drop.

6+ months ago...nothing was dropping.

if i remember the last crash rightly it took a good few months before asking prices started to reflect the reality of the situation

hopefully the falls and cuts will start to gather momentum

Does property bee still work? I tried recently and got a sever error every time I clicked on a property. Did visit the PB website but looks like updates stopped months ago.

I know where you're coming from.

Property bee used to be great. Then I changed my mac + updated the browser. I then had 3 months of glitches, wierd errors before removing the plugin.

I've re-installed and tried and old account and - bingo - it works now.

That prompted me to look at Rightmove.

Our next door neighbour's sale has fallen through.

They saw a house they liked a few months ago and put theirs on the market. Sold subject to contract, to a cash buyer, the same day! Now back on market stating "Quick sale required".

I actually feel rather sorry for them, nice young couple.

I know how they can get a quick sale. (Clue: rhymes with "shut the vice"...)

I agree it takes ages for people to accept a drop in price, but the reality is the banks have a bottomless pit of money to lend at the moment ... when this will run out i do not know.
