B B C Newsbeat Puff Piece For Insurance Industry

Recommended Posts

On the radio (1) yesterday this "news" item was abbreviated to basically the first and last sentences which made it 95% an advert for the insurance industry.

Even with the extra information in the article I still smell a rat. There are no burns units in France?

Is it worth me putting in a complaint?

More than likely not, B1N file comes to mind if you did.

AS an aside, why are the newsbeat pages about 500 times bigger than the normal news? Tablets would be my guess.

All BBC news is one big puff piece. When they hire news staff, they ask "but do you know how to puff it up?"
