Not much commentary required.

Boom Cancelled.

Wouldn't one of those guys who knows a lot about crayons, draw a line under the recent blue bottoms and say the trend is up because of the higher lows?

I suspect so, but my point is the number of internet searches for mortgage related queries has collapsed about 20% in a month.

that must be good news.

As long as they aren't just searching on "Help to Buy" now instead of "Mortgage"!

Not the rush to beat MMR back in May is over interest in mortgages is still declining in a rather unseasonal fashion. I will see if I can dig up some PPC prices.
Almost every August interest in mortgages has been up, last time there was no August uptick was 08/09. Brokers will start feeling it soon, I await their collective VI propaganda drivel - cheaper to buy than rent, 10 cheapest areas etc.
