Gigantic Purple Slug

Ev Song Contest

No problem. It's underway. No expense spared by Denmark with the pyrotechics in the opening sequence. Russia unpopular this year, however I'm looking out for a nervous satellite state that will award them 12 points. Good indicator of who might get invaded next...

is it about the song or the visuals ?

More about who's got lots of oil. Azerbaijan normally do well.

Ukraine off first. Pretty singer, man on hamster wheel. Not enough key changes.

Ukraine missed a trick with their entry. There was a perfect opportunity for an 'accidental' wardrobe malfunction when she was on the hamster wheel with her long skirt. Bucks Fizz for the 21st century.

The venue is about 10mins from here, bloody disruptions, traffic diversions we had to suffer this week - it better be worth it!! :D

Azer-BJ - meh, I'm expecting hotter

Iceland - less said the better

Norway - it's like looking in a mirror.

Iceland for the win so far. Pretty good (by Eurovision standards). Presidents of the United States of America let loose in the crayon box.

Romania - They gave that everything. It had it all. Massive key changes, crap Eurodance song, teleporting singers and a donut piano.
