Anyone renting in the capital will know that you don’t always get a lot for your money – but one property in west London is taking the trend to the extreme.

This studio flat on Earls Court Road boasts many in-demand amenities, including a bed, kitchen, shower and double glazing.

There’s just one small drawback – it’s all squeezed into one room. Oh, and there’s no mention of a toilet either.

And the cherry on top of the cake? It can all be yours for the bargain price of…£536 a month.

The picture of what you can get for your money is just awesome, you could easily bring your date home....

That is the most distorted trapezium door I've ever seen. Extreme fish-eye lens. I also like the list of nearby schools on the estate agent listing - perfect for a young family then.

There'll be a lovely tropical humidity when the shower is used. And who needs a toilet? Just p**s in the sink and s**t in the fridge. Just like being a student.

Got half a dozen of those and all share one bog.

it sounds like my student halls. We would have a laugh because someone used to leave a giant sh*t in one of the bogs.

Flip flops come in handy.

This kind of thing used to be illegal. Now you have to be rich to live in a slum.

Parker Morris standards anyone?

Nice to see 'free enterprise' pushing standards as always.

It's basically a room in shared house. That's not an unusually high price to pay in London either. Not really sure what the problem is.

Personally, I'd have preferred the extra space rather than the facilities - but plenty would prefer the privacy.

I think the Indy is a little behind the (desperate) times.

Other than they're paying more than our mortgage for a 'flat' that's smaller than our ensuite bathroom. I guess it's better than sharing a garage with six illegal immigrants, though.
