Is it possible to have a pinned FAQ for this site? Such as explanations for acronyms (MEW,BTL) and slang (bulls,bears)..

One thing I've noticed, probably because I was exactly the same, is that people lurk for an awful long time before posting and maybe this would encourage them to join in with the arguments debate without the worry of seeming to be a dumb newbie. Especially as we'll start to increase in numbers next year when the HPC really starts to bite Jo public.

To be fair..... In my many years on a computer and joining many forums and online games, I have always found this site VERY NEWBIE FRIENDLY.

Yes its a great idea, but I do believe that its already there at the bottom of the page under the link of glossary.

I think the question thats needs to be asked is

Will U plz upd8 the glossary u f00kin (_0_)?

TB

Only jesting

How many people actually click on that stuff at the bottom? I never do. I never realised it was there at first, and now I just forget.

I've cleared my cache, I've turned off my po-up blocker, but it still doesn't work.

I`m not trying to teach you to suck eggs but did you power down and restart with a cold boot. My pop up blocker does not clear until I carry out this function.

A very good idea.

BTW, WTF does AWOOGA mean?

First appeared on HPC here

http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/ind...opic=12196&st=0

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=awooga

First used by John Fashanu on Gladiators (although OldFTB thought perhaps it was Craig Charles on Red Dwarf). AWOOGA is the official HPC Troll alert.

What does 'MLM' mean?

Multi level marketing. You know, Amway and others.

Introduced when pryramid selling became frowned on and I think illegal.

Some may suggest there is little difference.
