Check out 2007 - BEFORE the crash (Hors D'oeuvre).

Recently broken below potential topping pattern. Also, multi year Double Top?

(No-one can tell the future with Technical Analysis. What it does is highlight questions and suggestions.)

2015 anyone?

I thought this too useful to post in Pinned Charts, that everyone would want to see it. And it is HPC related.

Are you predicting a housing market or bank crash ?

Every man and their dog knows the housing market is on it's last legs and only the biggest mugs in history are buying.

May 2014 anyone ?

What all of the graphs seem to tell me - with the benefit of hindsight of course - is that I should have hedged my belief that there was going to be a massive HPC after 2008 by putting at least some of my STR fund into builders shares!

I would probably have enough to buy in cash now had I done so - plus they are a damn sight easier to dump in a hurry than physical bricks and mortar!

The UK home builder group chart is nmx3720

http://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/prices-and-markets/stocks/indices/constituents-indices.html?index=NMX&industrySector=3720&page=1

But it includes RECKITT BENCKISER, A consumer goods group company which sort of skews the group a bit. This group was created I believe shortly after the financial crash as the pure builders group would have been a very weak chart to look at.

SVS - key price level is the £6 area. It could still break to new highs, so I am not swayed either way.
