On women wearing trousers:

“Yes women should be banned from wearing trousers. They used to be for thousands of years. Did you know that until 300 years ago a women wearing trousers would be executed? They don’t look as nice as skirts. Trousers don’t excite men, only skirts excite men.”

On women dressing to excite men:

“That’s the only way the world is going to continue. If they don’t, then men are going to stop f*****g them, do you understand? And may I tell you with great respect, that the incidence of love making in Western Europe has fallen drastically. If men don’t make love to women the western world is going to disappear… Women have always tried to excite men because women need to get married and men don’t want to get married, so women have to persuade them to get married.”

Doesn't normally give interviews but the interviewer, plus camera crew, knocked on his door and he agreed. They must have been rubbing there hands with excitement.

The guy's clearly got eccentric views, mental problems or a bit of both. It started to feel a bit wrong after a while, clearly taking advantage of him for political reasons. Just because he agrees to do it doesn't make it right.

I like a nice pair of female legs and bottoms in legging or lycra.

However, when the plumper ladies wear there you can often see their knickers through the material - do they think that is a good look? Don't they check in a mirror before going out? Do they have female 'friends' who tell them that they look good?

Wear thicker material lycra ladies if you are on the plump side.

However mad he is - he has this spot on.

The birth rate in Arab countries where women dress very conservatively must be incredibly low.

It had the whiff of desperation about it

Most right winger Tories are completely bonkers, but I wasn't sure why CH4 conflated this fruit loop with UKIP apart from the fact that he gave them some cash.

Farage is bonkers enough as it is.

Well that's the opposite end of the stick. Show a bloke nothing and he will also be worked up into a frenzy !!

Farage came to Swansea yesterday.

I was cycling through the city centre and there were hordes of journos and TV crews waiting for him.

He didn't turn up because, as Channel 4 eagerly reported, he was apparently frightened off by a crowd of protestors - from where I was standing it looked like one vocal guy in a 'massive' crowd of about 5 or 6 people... hence why you got all the extreme close-up shots of the protesting crowd on the TV news last night.

Instead he got diverted to the Liberty Stadium by 'his people' - facepalm

Wales is full of vocal preachers who will argue the toss with anyone at any given point of the day. You get worse waiting at a bus stop than Farage would have faced yesterday.

I think they've scraped the barrel bare looking for actual UKIP candidates/members to link barmy statements to, so are having to look further afield.

Next week it will be 'FARAGE NEIGHBOUR IS OUTED AS NAZI WAR CRIMINAL. FARAGE EXHIBITIS HEINOUS RACISM IN HOUSEBUYING DECISIONS'

Or to take it a level further 'Farage compatriot outed as imperialist bigot. Farage exhibits heinous racism in choice of patriotism. Farage refuses to deny claims that he identifies as 'British'.'

"Channel 4 news doesn`t want to have a discussion about open door immigration" Checkmate, game over. Farage owned the reporter at the end by just honestly and openly answering the question and bringing things back to what the public are interested in. UKIP are a big threat now, the silly story mill is in overdrive. The "donor" (20k was it?) is maybe in the early stages of something going wrong upstairs and has some eccentric views about women and gay people, who really cares?

+1

The thought-police holding him up to ridicule are creepier than anything that old buffer said.

I just had a look at his blog and found some similarly eccentric views.

http://marchessini.co.uk/2014/04/07/extraordinary-phenomenon/

Both The Times and The Daily Telegraph, the two most serious newspapers in London, both of whom had well respected wine columnists in the past, now both have young women as their wine columnists. This is extraordinary. First of all, the only way anyone can learn about wine is to drink a lot of it. Now we all know that young women because of their size and age cannot begin to drink the amount that old men drink. So these young ladies have only drunk a fraction of what an older man has drunk.
