How Much Is Your Street Worth?

It's worth a lot less since I moved in! :blink:

Just over £3M based on sixty one bed flats in two blocks. Cost about 50p to build in 1970's on an old bowling green. Could they be rebuilt for that money. Yes quite easily £1M construction cost, £2M for PFI shaninigans, housing management staff and CEO bonuses

Multiply the number of houses in your street by the average value. It may surprise you just how big these numbers are.

Why is this useful? Isn't it a case of 'take one vaguely meaningful number and multiply it by a meaningless one', or am I missing something?
