Vi's To Control Price Data

Only in one state of Oz so far but no doubt the rest of Oz and then other countries will soon follow. No more useful house price data!


The REIV will now have virtual total control of all price information on all property sales. The details will no longer be available to companies that provide unbiased research. The public and the newspapers (indeed everyone), will be totally dependent on the REIV for data.

The REIV – whose objective is to protect and promote the interest of agents...

...When other companies collect data it is harder for the REIV to distort the data. But, by changing the small print so that the public won’t notice, presto, the REIV gets rid of competitors.
