Bank Of England Has Suspended A Member Of Staff

Recommended Posts

[The Bank of England] does not condone market-rigging "whatsoever", it said in a statement.

Surely the most worrying thing is that they have actually made this statement, that they thought their position on market-rigging needed clarifying and couldn't be taken for granted.

Can you imagine the head of the Met standing up and saying: "The police do not condone murder, whatsoever"?

Isn't it their job to rig markets? I find this monetary stuff so confusing.

Hmm...I feel another "banker commits suicide by shooting himself 7 times with a nail gun" story may be about to appear....

People tell me that I am slightly odd...

I reckon he didn't bring in any cakes on his birthday- or maybe they just drew straws?

The legal position in the financial sector has regressed to a sacrificial model in which any transgression requires a symbolic human sacrifice in the form of a patsy to take the heat-leaving the rest of the tribe to go on about their business unmolested.

Keep the public molested for sure.
