Shared Equity With Help To Buy

Recommended Posts

£207,960 is the price you pay today & represents 80% of the full price of £259,950 when you buy here with a 5% deposit using the government Help to Buy scheme.

Finished with a high specification The Holly a 4 bed townhouse features light and airy accommodation with high ceilings & full height windows, bay window to lounge and walk out balcony to the bedroom. One and a half size garage and driveway parking not often found on a new build house.

No garden wither and surrounded by fields - the mind boggles.

So what is the real price tag excluding government intervention and 20% equity the builders have stolen and charging you rent on?

Don't worry those nice green fields will soon be built on, these new estates are mostly 3-4 storey concrete jungles.

Why does a 4 bed new build need 4 toilets, 4 basins, 2 baths a shower and a kitchen sink? On 3 floors (2 sets of stairs)... seems a waste to me.

Good point. I don't enjoy cleaning one toilet - let alone four of them!

This is known as coupon stacking.
