Silly Advertised Prices

Recommended Posts

Another potential reason for silly advertised prices especially in London that I came across lately and was interested if anyone else had seen it too?

With recent changes it is now easier to evict squatters from residential property but difficult to do the same for commercial hence lots of "commercial" squats. So to prevent squatting or get quick evictions where commercial property is being converted to residential, advertise the property as being for sale / rent ASAP (with some odd photos) at a very silly price so now one actaully take any real interest and then do the conversion work...

Has anyone else seen this? (hat tip to a lawyer on this one)

The problem is then the silly prices get used by others for comparison without checking the details priming the bubble more.
