Frank Hovis

So Goodbye 'orrible Ives

Recommended Posts

I vote Porridge the finest British sitcom there's been.

Doctor: "Are you, or have you ever been a homosexual?"

Fletcher: "What? - with these feet?"

RIP Ives - one of the great minor characters in a brilliant show..

I have a funny story about one of the Porridge regulars that I might share a bit later on.

You tease :P

Trying to think who that might be now, I'll go Sam Kelly (Bunny Warren) as I've seen him sinking a few beers up at Lords.

The cricket ground, membership of Middlesex (as opposed to Marylebone) is very cheap and it's a pleasant way to spend a sunny weekend when you live in central London.
