It is what it is , but im bloody sick of this HTB being pumped down the publics throat in anyway possible.

Buzz words again - "hard working families" and "aspirations"

and what eventually got me calling Osbourne all the mofos in the world:-

".....But Mr Osborne said: 'We are recovering from a property crash. Am I someone who says we should be vigilant about this? Absolutely we should be vigilant..."

let's cut the crap shall we.

we know what they are doing is deliberate.

it's an act of war.

(and the financial stuff is the tip of the iceberg.......even under UN mandates(which we don't really subscibe to as ne-world communism isn't even working in europe let alone worldwide)....it is illegal under THEIR rules to cause economic situations or otherwise that do harm/ inhibit natural population growth of indigenous populace.

I argue that ultra-high house prices, high tuition fees etc are EXACTLY that...attempted genocide.

therfore as an act of genocide we have absolute right to defend ourselves robustly.

Yes i agree - forcing people to live in this way is a form of violence.

Gutted - no other word for it. I almost wish i never stumbled across this site in 2008 - at lease at that time there was a sense of hope that a move towards some kind of normality was possible. Now i am sure i wont be seeing that for years to come.

The possibility of myself meeting the financial requirements to put a roof over my head, raise a family and have some chance of retiring are slim-to-non...

If I were going to get a loan to buy a house, I think this guaranteed no negative equity scheme has to be the best bet by far.

As you only have bought the part you have paid for the bank (or government) carries all the downside risk of an HPC. Brilliant. Probably only available to muslims though.

Where's the nearest 'king mosque? I'm converting!

I've just watched Channel 4 about even more banker corruption within RBS. I remember when banks like Lloyds had some of the best reputations in the world. Now British banks are criminal enterprises. I honestly think the British mentality now is - "if we can get away with, it we'll do it". I won't say that democracy in itself is a failure. But when the country is run like this democracy is a useless thing.

Its a dog eats dog world and the hypocrisy of humans comical. Id really like to think that i wouldnt play a part in it if the chance presented itself. When it boils down to it you and your familiy are all that matters, a kind thought to your fellow man is a luxury.

Not really sure we get true democracy, though when i talk to some of the Polish its clear that they feel mode free/safe in the UK

No need to convert, anti-discrimination laws work both ways:

Islamic finance products are not just for Muslims - around 2 per cent of the IBB's customer base are non-Muslim and don't choose the bank for religious reasons, but for ethical ones. Islamic banks will not invest in firms involved with gambling, alcohol, tobacco or pornography.

As far as I can see no mention of money owed decreasing in the event of a HPC though, they just look like they've gotten around the religious rules by renaming the internal elements of the monthly payments. Apparently god is okay with this kind of slight of hand accounting
