Second Steppers Anecdotal

Recommended Posts

A couple we know bought a 2-bed new-ish build starter terrace about 6 years ago. They now have 2 fast-growing children, a boy and a girl, so decided to look around for a bigger place and were horrified at the cost of one extra bedroom. They recently looked into a loft conversion, but found that because newer houses have too low a pitch (only 30 deg vs 45 for most older houses - saves the developers on roof tiles) this is also not an option. The idea of a third child has now been abandoned. At least they are sensible enough to realise that htb would be a disaster for them.
