R K
Osborne ripped a new one by Lewis. Quite obvious Martin Lewis is better informed about the UK economy than the Chancellor. Lewis pointed out to him that HTB mortgage rates are outrageously expensive. Gidiot just glowered at him. Priceless. No wonder Osborne never goes on the telly. cybernoid
Quite obvious Martin Lewis is better informed about the UK economy than the Chancellor. It was rather disturbing. Lewis talking comfortably and quickly about the issues we mention on here, osbourne looked at him as though he was from another planet. I hope it was a politicians disguise and that in reality he is very familiar with the real world issues the rest of us have to live with day after day. I think that hope may be misplaced. Kablooi
LINK TO VIDEO: https://www.itv.com/itvplayer/the-agenda Thanks for the link, would have hated to have missed that. The chancellors sudden look of "Oh, right, you're looking at me for an answer??.. ermm...." then, skirt around the actual question a bit, and, oh look we're out of time, lets move onto other important issues facing the nation like politicians keeping fit in public. Still, great moment.
