Ramping?-House Sales Volumes

Recommended Posts

House sales across England and Wales grew at their fastest annual rate in 10 years in the six months to September 2013, a report has found. The data comes from Lloyds Bank, which says Wales, London, the West Midlands and northern England were "property hot spots".

Another report. Interesting how they spin the stats. Land reg stats are difficult to analyse but I will reserve judgement until I read the actual report.

HMRC was reporting a 24% year-on-year increase in transaction volumes in December 2013, which seems to jive with the Land Registry value of "more than one fifth": http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-25504814

Annual rate ? using just six months data to me it looks like they have used the best six months to get the headline % so yes its ramping
