It's like living in the daily mash. iI also means that, if the loss of pension rights was worth £430K, his pension rights were too ****ing high in the first place. I'd be lucky to save a fraction of that in a private fund after decades of honest and productive, skilled work. And I will retire nearly 20 years later than a policeman. SNACR Posted February 5, 2014 Share Posted February 5, 2014 I can only assume those state workers presiding over the compensation payouts must pretty much know they're incompetent so, I'd guess, the decisions and figures they arrive at are informed by their own fear of being the other side of the table themselves. Bloo Loo Posted February 5, 2014 Share Posted February 5, 2014 What loss of pension? he would be entitled to a pension based on the number of years he had worked...so he was about 5 years from retirement anyway...thats over a 100K per year....maybe he isnt actually getting the money, but it is going into the pension fund...natural justice would suggest so, Of course, he now doesnt even need the Police pension, so shouldnt receive another penny from the Force.
