A Conservative Party Councillor Who Said A Film Featuring Gun-Toting Border Vigilantes Offered A Good Way Of Dealing With Immigrants

A Conservative Party councillor who said a film featuring gun-toting border vigilantes offered a good way of dealing with immigrants has been allowed to keep his post after issuing an apology.

Danny Mayzes, 25, of Clacton, Essex, was watching Machete, in which vigilantes patrol an electric security fence on the Mexican border, when he took to Twitter, saying: 'Am watching Machete - now that's how you DEAL with immigration.'

He added: '#turn_on_your_ tv_Theresa' in what is believed to have been a reference to Home Secretary, Theresa May.

Mr Mayzes has been on Tendring District Council since he was 19 and was the youngest ever chairman of the council until he stepped down last May.

..

Yesterday the former Tendring council chairman, who quit both Twitter and Facebook after the incident, was reinstated. He apologised and said he intended to go on a social media training course.

Hmmm do these courses cover how not to be a prat?

I wonder how much that course costs are will the taxpayers be picking up the cost?

BNP clowncillors have been hauled before judges for less.

He's liblabcon though, a higher species than the rest of us, so his free speech/freedom of expression is protected.

Meanwhile, if we make a 'racist'* joke, it'll land us with a criminal record.

*A racist joke can be anything perceived to be racist by anyone (yes, seriously) so i guess we all better become mutes (or better still, just accept in the eyes of the state, we're all racists.)...

The definition of a "racist incident" will now include incidents categorised in policing terms both as crimes and non-crimes. It will now encompass "any incident which is perceived to be racist by the victim or any other person". A new Code of Practice will record all such crimes.

'Am watching Machete - now that's how you DEAL with immigration.'

In the version of Machete I saw the illegals triumph over the border vigilantes and the leader of the vigilantes is killed by his own men who mistake him for an immigrant.

I once met someone who met the owner of a small DVD publishing label that specialises in re-releasing obscure propaganda and documentary films from the last century, with a noted specialism in selling DVDs of anti-semitic Nazi propaganda epics from the '30s and '40s. These discs are only marketed actively to places like university libraries, and sell for a lot more than your typical movie on Amazon. I am told that the guy let slip after a drink or two that the overwhelming majority of his sales were to addresses in the Deep South, including bulk orders from KKK offices and other, shall we say, interesting groups and organisations...

The fact that Americans try to eject Mexicans as illegal immigrants from states such as Texas and California leaves no doubt that Americans have no sense of irony.
