Been To Prison...not A Problem.

"Vicky Pryce, who served a jail sentence for accepting speeding points from her former husband Chris Huhne, will return to a role advising Government ministers."

She regularly appeared on the BBC prior to trial/sentencing etc.

It's nothing more than a minor inconvenience for people like her(and Huhne, who seems to be trying to rehabilitate himself with some success).

Yeah, but she was done for lying, which perfectly qualifies her for a political role. ;)

That's cynical rolleyes.gif

She has a right to work...but really, what are the lib-dems thinking.

Maybe a job in costa would have been a better starting point for her.

Ministers are being advised by Vicky Pryce (Jailed for perverting the course of justice) who was married to Chris Huhne MP (Jailed for perverting the course of justice) and is now with Denis McShane MP (Jailed for expenses fraud).

Quality selection process going on here.

Its also the case that drunken poiticians keep their jobs...the party goes to great lengths to cover the activities up as the person keeps appearing unsober in public.

Anyone else would be quietly sacked.

Why bother with Uni when a term inside comes free including board and lodgings.

Plenty of opening such as in the Probation Service, Prisoner Welfare etc. More applications than Media studies.

And what precisely is she going to be advising the govt on?

Presumably it's the Lib Dems she's working for. Being a criminal or a sex pest is practically a pre-requisite for party membership these days so she is well placed I'd imagine.

MPs on average have more familiarity with the inside of a jail cell, than does the average man "on the Clapham omnibus", although that is probably an outdated analogy, since most people now, won't pay £450,000 for a derelict flat over a kebab shop.
